David and Sarah get married

On Saturday Sue and I joined Sarah and Dave for thier wedding in Milton Keynes, we started our day with Sarah at her parents house which in fact is where the wedding reception took place as well,  we spent an hour with Sarah and the girls before heading off to the local church to meet Dave,  we also got to meet Phil and Rebecca and their new baby Anabell born 13/04/11, Phill annd Becky reccomended us to Sarah and Dave after we shot thier wedding a couple years ago and it was lovely to catch up.  After a lovely service carried out by one of Sarah’s relatives Jeff, we all headed back to the house and the wedding reception. We had an hour on the lawns for a few family groups and some portraits and then before  dinner we had speeches on the south lawn which was lots of fun and thankfully very sunny,  After dinner we moved onto cake cutting and the first dance which is where Sue and I headed home.

Simon and Alia and their fun filled wedding

On Sunday we joined Simon and Alia for their wedding at Northbrook park which was anything but a normal day 🙂  we started our day with Alia and her family at Grooms guest house in Bentley for an hour or so of relaxed informal shots as well as some great details where the sun was shinning, as we were leaving for Northbrook the heavens opened, it rained and rained and rained 🙂  well it was wet !!!  We had some fun with the boys and guests arriving with brollies when dingies would have been more appropriate until Alia arrived looking spectacular in a very nice BMW 5 coupe.  We then went into a traditional civil ceremony but thats where things got interesting, after the ceremony we had a brief Muslin ceremony and a Jewish one where Simon smashed a glass before we all headed outside where thankfully the rain had stopped, we had a couple of hours in the gardens with lots of family groups and some portraits too and soon it was time for Dinner,  after the meal we had the speeches where Sue and I got a shout out for our Anniversary 🙂  THANKS GUYS and then it was back into the gardens for coffee and the Dj to setup.  we then headed into dance which was again a traditional dance and then the Jewish traditional chair dance, such fun !

Thanks to our amazing toastmaster Iain Pompei for a fun day and Steve the amazing video dude who can be seen here on his website  also to Simon and Alia for remembering our special day X
