July has been a great month here at Julian Porter Photography and a very interesting one, firstly because we limit ourselves to 30 weddings each year we only ended up with 1 in July which was our VIP wedding at the Elvetham but we do have a very busy August and September so lots more stories soon.
We have tho been extremely busy over at Babyjp so why not take a look over at our hampshire newborn photography website to see whats been happening, I doubt anybody will be able to visit without having a great big smile after seeing those gorgeous babies, see them here
We have also been busy with our workshops, having a great evening group course this month and 2 full day workshops which you can also check out here on our jpworkshop website We do all sorts of photography courses starting with a 2 hour sampler course run on the first Monday and last wednesday of each month and although we are not running one tonight we do have spaces on August 6th and 29th both of which you would be in great company because we have one of our wedding couples on each night.
Lastly for this post we have been back to Bursledon Towers Tesco for the Grand opening after its 10 year re-fit. as most of you know we look after Tesco’s photography locally and this store has just undergone a large revamp so we went along to organise and photograph the opening, we met up with the Manager Simon again and his great staff as well as some of the kids from Hamble Village Playschool including a couple of our lovely Babyjp clients Kelly and here lovely son Max along with her daughter Lila which was a nice surprise.
Best part for me was the new Costa store run by Julie who along with Debs looked after our coffee needs
We have also finished upgrading all our cameras for 2012/13 so we are now shooting a combination on Nikon D4′s and D800′s both of which are amazing cameras and once again thanks to Nikon are leading the field,
All in all a great month so far, more babies today and an amazing Baptism on Sunday with yet another Babyjp client and then another One-2-One workshop on Monday before returning 2 2 weddings the week after,
Phew……. I am so thankful that Sue and I do what we do. I love my job so much and I love the people that make my job so special, YOU !
