Tesco express Tuckton opening

Last week Sue and I photographed the opening of our first Tesco store of the year which was in Tuckton near Bournemouth and as always it was a lot of fun and a very quick job due to the fact that it was a real opening,  lots of shops actually setup an opening but Tesco like to keep it real and I think it works very well.

We do a lot of work for Tesco’s publicity company up and down the country and its always good to get asked to do more,  we have 2 more to do in april and are looking forward to both.

Our corporate photography rates are very reasonable and can be found sung the link below so please feel free to contact us here to discuss your project 02380 767084   julianporter@mac.com    or txt  07720325336

First day of British Summer time with Stuart and Niki @ the Montague arms Beaulieu

Well its been a long cold winter which seems to have dragged on and on despite spending january in Florida but yesterday was the first day of British Summer Time and even tho it was only March 30th we woke to the most amazing day imaginable Which I think we all needed.  Stuart and Niki booked their wedding a while ago and we had spoken about the various weather scenarios and in fact Sue and I had gone to the Montague arms to do a reckkie just in case of bad weather but I am pleased to say it was just perfect.

We started our day with Niki and the girls and things were more than a little tense with the girls so we spent the first hour or so getting seriously creative with the details which we always love to do, we played with the rings, dress, shoes and bubbly as well as all the other wedding details whilst Niki was made up and the day got underway.  We spent our time between Niki and Stuart who was in the bar enjoying a couple of well earned pre-wedding beers with his best man Duncan. As we approached wedding time we headed back to Niki to photograph her getting into her dress and then headed down to the rather crowded ceremony room.  The room Stuart and Niki had chosen was only registered for 60 guests and they totalled 66 so 6 had to miss the first part of the ceremony but it all worked out.  The ceremony went well and was over in no time at all and we all headed out to the gardens where we spent out time photographing all the guests as well as getting some nice portraits of the parents and bridesmaids as well as the guys and there partners before we took the family shots with thanks to the amazing weather were just beautiful.  After the family groups we took Stuart and Niki out along to the beautiful Beaulieu river for some portraits walking along and of course on the bridge which were amazing in the sunshine with the horses and the swans before returning to head in for dinner.

Dinner was served and Sue and I headed off for our munch and when we returned we photographed the speeches, Duncans was awesome and made me lol and always makes for great photos.  As we were running a little behind at this point the guests were asked to return to the gardens for an hour to allow the band to set up.  During this time it was nice to photograph the kids playing on the lawns (and the bigger kids grandad) and generally catch people chilling.

We then headed in to cut the cake and enjoy the first dance sang by the band.  Sue and I held around for a few songs and eventually headed off home exhausted after a very long and warm early summer wedding.

The weather had been amazing and where better to enjoy it than in the heart of the New Forest at this beautiful old venue. It was our first Montague Arms wedding and it was an amazing place to work, the staff were amongst the best I have ever worked with and the surroundings just lovely and I cant wait to return later this year.

Sue and I only photograph 20 weddings each year, this keeps us fresh and excited about each wedding we attend and I hope this shows in our photographs,  if you would like to chat with us about your wedding Please feel free to contact us here 02380 767084   julianporter@mac.com    or txt  07720325336   so that we can get together for a coffee and a chat.

#PoutForMamaP please read and consider helping these wonderful ladies

Last week Sue asked me if we could do a charity shoot to help a Facebook campaign PoutForMamaP and once I knew who was involved I was just as keen as her to help.

We decided to offer the ladies a shoot and to help promote #PoutForMamaP

The shoot was a blast because everybody there was 100% focused on helping plus we knew them all in one way or another which was just lovely.

Rather than me explaining everything here please read the heartwarming story from Jess about her wonderful Mama using the link below then please join the campaign because simply doing just that will help promote it and if you also consider donating a pound or 2 then thats even better.

Sue and I will upload our “pout” photos this weekend and donate of course.

Check out and please join #PoutForMamaP

Here are a few photos 🙂
