Robert and Lorraines shoot

Rob and Lorraine came in this wee for their engagement shoot and a chat about their wedding in August at the lovely Cain Manor.  We had a lovely photo shoot with them and a real nice catch up about the wedding which will be a whole lot of fun and a real relaxed day.

Rob and Lorraine met us when Rob was the best man at Terry and Sarah’s wedding at the Elvetham back in 2009 you can see it here.  We love it when we meet people like this because they already love our style, Rob and Lorraine are no exception.

Adam and Becca’s engagement shoot

Last week we met with Becca and Adam for their e-shoot at out studio here in Southampton, we had such a fun time with them and are really looking forward to their wedding day which is in September in Portsmouth.  Becca and Adam work together and we are hoping to visit work for a few photos on the wedding day which will be a lot of fun, we both love in when our couples really “get” us:-)

We both love to do engagement shoots both in our studio and outside with our couples and always have so much fun and its a great way to get to know each other better.

Corporate photos for Kate Preston Hair and Beauty

Last week we were joined by the lovely Kate Preston and her staff for their “meet the team” photos,  Sue and I shoot a lot of this sort of corporate work, personally I find it much more interesting than photographing nuts and bolts but then to be fair I am a bit of a girl when all said and done:-)

We did an amazing family shoot for Kate last year which you can see here and we had a lot of fun and we have been chatting about this corporate shoot ever since,  We first met Kate through the lovely Steph and Kev when we shot their wedding in Fareham which was a fab day and can be seen here. I just love how our work all mingles together and we get to meet amazing clients lots of whom become lifelong friends which is simply amazing.

Kate wanted some fun, friendly upbeat photos for her “meet the team” photos and I am pleased to say we captured just that, She has such a lovely group of staff that it was hard not to,  we took a few of each and send then directly to Kate’s web designers who will update her lovely website soon. They do amazing work and  our photos will show off the staff to their full potential.

Watch me grow shoots by Hampshire photographer Julian porter

Last week we had a wonderful watch me grow shoot with Allie, David, Jonathan and baby Matthew and it was superb. We have already photographed Matthew as an 8 day old newborn which you can see here and they are adorable.  We also did a watch me grow package for Jonathan a few years ago as well as photographing David and Allie’s wedding so we know them all very well, without a doubt this is the best part of our job, watching our families grow:-)

We offer a selection of watch me grow packages as you will see from the links below and like with Allie and David we always take a lovely selection of cherished photos of the whole family.  Both Matthew and Jonathan had only just gotten over chicken pox on our shoot so apart from some careful editing we also had to cope with the gorgeous Matthew not being as smiley as normal but I am sure you will agree that these are adorable photos.

If you would like a watch me grow shoot or any other shoot please let me know and we can get it all sorted. These shoots are an amazing way of capturing your babies first year and you will end up with an amazing collection of stunning photos.

Hampshire pet photography – Saffy the Maine Coon cat

Last week we met the beautiful Saffy who is a Maine Coon pure-bred Cat with the most amazing colouring that it just had to be on our darker backdrop.  We have a selection of colours available which can suit most colourings.  Saffy was very shy but after 30 minutes of playing and coaxing she relaxed and we were able to get these amazing photographs of her.

We have a complete separate area in our studio for pets so we can let them sniff around and get comfortable before we start capturing the delightful pet photographs that will look amazing on your wall.

We are running a great offer at the moment,  Bring your pet along for a shoot and receive a disk of photos all completed to this standard for only £100, then you can print and share the photos as often as you wish,  we also offer a full printing and canvas service too which we would be happy to chat to you about.
