Another fab Wedding by Jules & Sue

Tom and Laura’s wonderful wedding day

On Sunday we photographed our second wedding of the weekend when joined Tom and Laura for their wedding day,  Tom and Laura chose one of  our new packages so we started our day at the beautiful church on the outskirts of Salisbury with a few shots of the boys whilst we waited for Laura to arrive,  soon Laura arrived in a lovely Rolls Royce looking amazing in what can only be described as the most amazing weather, after a lovely church ceremony we had a few shots outside and soon we headed off to Rhinefield House which is one of our most popular venues and ideally situated only 17 miles from us.

We all arrived at Rhinefield and headed straight into the grounds for our portraits whilst we waited for the guests to arrive, we had a great walk around and rook some amazing photos in the sunshine, we then took some relazed informal shots and a few family groups and soon it was time to head into dinner and then the speeches, the speeches were great fun thanks to 3 great speakers but the highligh was Russel the Best Man, his speech was amazing 🙂 the whole room was in stitches, we then did the cake cutting which is where Sue and I headed home.

The flowers were provided by the lovely Natalie from Flowers by design in Highcliffe.

A great day was had by all and I am sure a great evening too,

Thanks to everyone for a fantastic wedding and lots of fun and laughter.

Simon and Ebba Get married @ Brompton Barracks!

On Friday afternoon Sue and I left excitedly for Brompton Barracks in Kent, home of the Royal Engineers officers and once very fine wedding venue. We stayed in a lovely room and woke the next morning to a very warm welcome by Ebba and her lovely  family and friends who were staying in the suitably named Queens room,  we started our day with a few lovely relaxed prep shots and lots of details in and around the barracks, we then left for the barracks church which was only about half a mile away where we met with Simon and the boys. We were able to catch the boys walking to the church which was great and then a few nice shots around the church as well as meet the vicar Claire who was great and very accommodating, we then managed to capture the guests walking to the church led by a lone piper and it sounded amazing and gave a great start to the wedding.

Ebba arrived looking sensational and walked into a very warm and friendly church, after what was a lovely service we headed outside for the guard of honour and confetti as well as a couple of group photos, we then headed back to the venue, We had a lovely couple of hours on the lawn and after some lovely family groups and some fun ones (thanks Frederick) we headed into dinner and after some amazing speeches from both the British guests and the Swedish guests then onto the dancing, a few more portraits inside and a lovely night shot before Sue and I left for our trip home.

Thanks to you all for a fun day, thanks to Pete for all your help and thanks to all the sweedish for understanding me 🙂  you all made it so much fun but thanks most of all to Major and Mrs Carvel for being such great company and fun.

Congratulations Phil and Kerry

About a month ago I had a call from Kerry asking to book in a bump shoot, we offered a few dates and Kerry and Phil came along for an amazing shoot one Friday,  Kerry and Phil were expecting twins, a boy and a girl.

We had the most amazing shoot and here are a couple of my favourite shots, thank you so much guys for letting us share these intimate and amazing photos.  Well one week on from the shoot we called Kerry to say that her photo had arrived and Phil said that Kerry had given birth to 2 amazing little bundles, Yesterday we got to meet Noah and Florence, OMG they are amazing, Sue held Noah for like an hour and I had tiny little precious Florence and it was an amazing experience, I actually did get very emotional, such an amazing experience holding such a tiny little baby.

Sue and I hope to photograph Noah and Florence very soon but for now Mummy and Daddy are quite busy 😉

Our love goes out to the Booker family and we cant wait to see you all again soon.

Rich and Nikki get married @ the Tythe Barn

On Thursday we joined Rich and Nikki for their wedding at the Tythe barn in Ditcham Nr Petersfield,  We have worked with Nikki many times before because she used to model for us so we were both extra excited about this wedding, well we started our day with Nikki and the girls at her flat in Whitchurch for a couple of hours prep including lots of detail shots of shoes and rings “of course” and some fun with the girls. We then headed off for the 1 hour trip to the beautiful Tythe Barn, the driving was awful, it was absolutly lashing down with rain and we thought that was it for the day but fortiunatly we spent the day with a mixture of rain, wind and intense sunshine so all in all much better than anticipated.

We did a few shots with the boys which was fun and once the rain stopped did them again 🙂  Are you getting a feel for the day yet ?  hehehe !!!   Nikki arrived looking amazing and the beautiful ceremony begun, we were then led into the gardens for a few photos and bubbles, well lots of Corona beer for the lads and bubbles for the ladies 🙂  although we struggled with the weather, the grass was too wet for photos and we had to avoid puddles on the path, I am pleased to say that we managed the whole drinks reception outside including some great portraits by the pond and of course on the tractor, did I mention Rich and Nikki were a lot of fun 🙂

We were then called into dinner, and O boy the food was amazing, all served up  by Tim from  Caper and Berry catering who were amazing on all counts, the food was delicious and the service was 5*  and we hope to see them again soon.

After the speeches and of course dinner we had a couple of hours just chilling in the barn before the music started and the dancing, we also managed to catch the lads and a few ladies outside for cigars which was a lot of fun !

All in all we had an amazing day and that includes the unsettled weather which was much better that forcast.

Thanks Nikki and Rich for a fab day and of course for looking after us, thanks everyone else for being so much fun, it really was a joy to be part of your day.
