Simon and Ebba Get married @ Brompton Barracks!

On Friday afternoon Sue and I left excitedly for Brompton Barracks in Kent, home of the Royal Engineers officers and once very fine wedding venue. We stayed in a lovely room and woke the next morning to a very warm welcome by Ebba and her lovely  family and friends who were staying in the suitably named Queens room,  we started our day with a few lovely relaxed prep shots and lots of details in and around the barracks, we then left for the barracks church which was only about half a mile away where we met with Simon and the boys. We were able to catch the boys walking to the church which was great and then a few nice shots around the church as well as meet the vicar Claire who was great and very accommodating, we then managed to capture the guests walking to the church led by a lone piper and it sounded amazing and gave a great start to the wedding.

Ebba arrived looking sensational and walked into a very warm and friendly church, after what was a lovely service we headed outside for the guard of honour and confetti as well as a couple of group photos, we then headed back to the venue, We had a lovely couple of hours on the lawn and after some lovely family groups and some fun ones (thanks Frederick) we headed into dinner and after some amazing speeches from both the British guests and the Swedish guests then onto the dancing, a few more portraits inside and a lovely night shot before Sue and I left for our trip home.

Thanks to you all for a fun day, thanks to Pete for all your help and thanks to all the sweedish for understanding me:-) you all made it so much fun but thanks most of all to Major and Mrs Carvel for being such great company and fun.

Wedding at Rhinefield House with Donald and Leanne

On Saturday Sue & I joined Donald and Leanne for there wedding which tool place at the beautiful Ellingham Church in Ringwood and then later at our favorite venue Rhinefield House.

We started our day at Rhinefield house with Leanne for a few relaxed prep shots and then drove to the local pub to meet Donald and the lads before leaving for the church, we had a lovely service and came out to the most amazing weather for a few relaxed shots and then off to Rhinefield house for a lovely reception all helped out by the resident toastmaster David Thompson who as always helped the day run smooth.

After a lovely time on the lawns we headed in for the wedding breakfast and then some great speeches,

We then went into dance with a great band before we did our night shot, another great Rhinefield house wedding.

Donald is a Major in the British Army and Leanne is also a serving officer who is about to leave for a tour of Afghanistan,  Sue & I wish here a safe trip x
