Our friends Chloe and Jamie got married yesterday and it was an honour once again to be a part of such an amazing wedding. Chloe and Jamie are a big part of the “Piller” clan and we have known them for quite a few years as part of that group of friends, meeting them at dozens of wedding so it was another pretty special day for us as well as all of them too.
We started out day at Warbrook House in Surrey with Chloe and the girls for a couple of hours of very relaxed preparation shots including what was probably my favourite dress of the year, Lots of laughing and lots of tears was a great start to the day. We then moved on to Jamie and the boys including our very good friend Ben who was best man again. After the boys we headed back to capture the dress shots with Chloe and to get ready to walk down the isle with her Dad.
The ceremony was just brilliant and the registrars made it perfect, so nice when they really throw themselves into their work and enjoy it. Afterwards we all spilled out onto the lawns for the afternoon which was just lovely, it was a little nippy but dry so no complaints. After 30 minutes of relaxed photos and an ice cream from the traditional cart we started on “the list” haha Chloe had said right from the start that she was very keen on formal shots but she also allowed plenty of time which is often a tradeoff so although we had a running joke going it was great fun and good banter kept everyone smiling.
Afterwards we headed off in the golf buggy for some shots and I have to say Chloe you surprised me, she was amazing and did just about everything I suggested including barefoot walking in the woods to climb a tree, Ok that sounds worse than it was haha. We then took a few more photos in the grounds before heading back for the big group photo and dinnertime.
The speeches were first and Dads was your typical Dads speech 🙂 then Jamie started and there were tears and then Ben started and honestly gave the best speech I have ever heard and I kid you not most of the room were crying including surprise surprise Sue.
After the wedding breakfast it was the cake cutting and into the first dance which for us drew the day to a close for us but the rest of the wedding were in for a fun night. It was great to see all our lovely friends again and enjoy yet another wedding with them all. We photographed 5 couples from yesterdays wedding and we truly did feel awesome about that.
Thanks everyone for a wonderful wedding and lots of great chats X
