On friday we did the first of this weeks 2 weddings which was Andrew and Charlottes big day at one of our favourite venue’s The Bartley Lodge Hotel in the new forest hampshire. Being about 10 miles from our studio its perfectly placed (or rather we are) to work at the Bartley Lodge and since its refurb we both thoroughly love our weddings there.
We started our day with Charlotte at home in Romsey for a few relaxed preparation shots along with some amazing details before we headed off to the amazing St Johns church in Horns drove southampton to meet with Andrew and the boys, we also met with Julian the vicar (cool name ha) 🙂 who’s as always was very obliging. We had previously worked here for Tim and Ruth who are cousins of Charlotte so Thanks guys for recommending us, Charlotte arrived looking amazing in a horse a carriage and after a lovely service and a few family groups Andrew and Charlotte left the same way, unfortunately due to an accident on the motorway we were forced to take the long route to Bartley but once there we were blessed with amazing weather and we had a great afternoon.
After an hour or so we all headed into speeches and then dinner, after the meal Sue and I took Andrew and Charlotte off for a few photos before heading in for the evening for dancing with the amazing Six bearded fish 🙂
It was great to see Tim and Ruth again as well as a few old friends, another great Bartley Lodge wedding and a perfect way to start the Jubilee weekend,
