Our wedding this weekend was again at Parley Manor but on Monday with Jack and Vicki, Vicki manages a pub so Monday was the perfect choice for their big day and what a day it was….
We started the day at the Hilton in Bournemouth for a few fun preparation shots with Vicki and the girls and I could already tell it was going to be an emotional one. Lots of details and preps before Sue and I left and headed off to Parley Manor a few miles away. Once there we had a light lunch and a coffee before the boys arrived and then we cracked on wit the boys photos. A while later Vicki and the bridesmaids arrived and a littler later than planned we all walked the few hundred feet to the beautiful ceremony room which was filled to bursting with excited family and friends, quite a few we knew very well including the lovely Matty and Amy who’s wedding we photographed at the The Barn 🙂 The ceremony was brief but enjoyable and then outside into the sunshine for drinks and photos. We were at this point struggling for time, Parly were not being helpful and I hat having to rush our couples but its important to get the photos for both them and us. We managed to keep pace and even catch up a little before they were called into the wedding breakfast.
After the meal we did speeches and the first up was Vicki’s Dad. Well OMG that was pretty emotional and had the whole room standing, clapping, crying and laughing. From a famous scheme from Love Actually he had a series of cards explaining his awesome relationship with Vicki and Jack, JUST AMAZING
After the speeches we spilled out onto the lawn again for more drinks and fun and Sue and I made the most of this time to grab some more photos until eventually it got colder and we all headed inside f0r the cake cutting and into first dance.
Just an awesome wedding with a great bunch of people. lots of love, life and laughter which are the key ingredients for life.
Thanks guys, we loved it X
