Hampshire wedding photo’s by Julian Porter – Steph and Kev get married

Well I am going to say it again, we are on a roll 🙂  Another absolutely amazing wedding on Friday where just about everything was planned to perfection and we has a stunning bride and handsome groom, life is very good at Julian Porter Photography and we are loving our weddings.

We joined Stephanie and Kevin for their wedding which took place in Fareham Hampshire at the lovely Lysses House hotel, its a lovely hampshire wedding venue that Julian Porter Photography knows very well thanks to another amazing wedding there with Allie and Dave who have like so many of our clients become good friends since their wedding.

We started our day on Friday at Steph’s home in Gosport where she was juggling looking after her 2 lovely children Grace and Elliott and getting ready, here are a few Baby jp newborn shots we took of Elliott a few months back when he was 7 days old.   After an hour or so Steph stepped into her amazing wedding dress although amazing does not do it justice it was sensational and supplied by our great friend Shay of Shay Harris bridal lounge in Southampton, check out her range and mention us for an extra smile, not that smile’s from shay are ever rare  🙂  Steph also had some pretty amazing blue shoes as you will see in the photos, probably my favourite wedding shoes of the year !!!  and you know how much I love my shoes !   We then shot off to the Lysses House hotel to meet Kev and best man Lee.

We had an hour taking shots of the boys and details and a few guests and enough time to grab a coffee before Steph arrived looking amazing and after a few minutes was whisked into the ceremony room which was again waiting in anticipated silence,  Steph had planned to walk down the isle with Grace who incidentally had only beed walking a week 🙂  but the amazing Grace just sat down half way and refused to move, haha brilliant,  the ceremony followed and I think it was the most fun ceremony I have seen in a long time thanks to 2 amazing registrars who actually asked Sue and I our opinion over photography during the service, well done guys, great service brilliant, putting the bride and grooms wishes first priceless 🙂

After the service we headed out onto the lawns for some lovely relaxed family shots as well as lots of fun guest moments and then we took Steph and Kev for a stroll down the high street for some fun portraits and a few beeps from exciting motorists.  We then headed back into the gardens where we had 2 great speeches out on the patio, well done Kev and Lee, very entertaining and then we headed in for the cake cutting and first dance which for us ended another simply amazing wedding day.

We have known Steph and her family for a long time because we have worked with them before so it was lovely catching up, lovely to meet Kev’s family too and thank you all for making the day so much fun,  Jim you looked amazing mate and I am so pleased that like me you have caught the fitness bug (our ladies are so lucky) haha.

Thanks Steph and Kev for making the day so much fun for Sue and I and for not once saying no to us,  you were both amazing and a perfect match too X

Much love to you all

Jules X
