I had a call from one of my friends who had brought his10-year-old daughter a camera for Christmas and wanted a few tips for her so I decided to meet them for a coffee in Beaulieu and talk her through her new bridge camera.
She has a lovely new Canon camera so after a few moments chatting about camera modes we headed off into the village, Unfortunately the animals were all hiding and the tide was out but we did get to play with the seagulls which believe it or not are quite difficult to photograph on a very cold day in December.
But we had some fun and she picked up quite well. I plan to coach her through the next few months and then get out again, I am pleased with her shots but I know she will do even better next time.
We offer all sorts of courses for budding photographers so please take a look at our page.
All photographs on the website were taken by people on our courses unless stated otherwise, We plan to get everyone up to this standard during our workshops.
We hope that you enjoy these photographs from this workshop, we are very pleased with them and we feel they show off using your cameras AV and S mode very well and also the various focus and metering modes all of which are interesting to learn about and will take your photography to a new level.
